On a warm day at Baker National in difficult snow conditions, the nordic ski team participated with well over 100 skiers in the TCNSC Conference Championships. After completing both a classic and a freestyle race, three Holy Family skiers ended up on the podium.

Maggie Mahota led the way for the Fire against a difficult field, finishing in 4th place and claiming an All-Conference spot. Megan Beulke followed shortly behind, finishing 14th and winning All-Conference Honorable Mention.

On the boys side, sophomore Tyler Franck managed a 16th place finish against a group crowded with talent, good enough for All-Conference Honorable Mention. Sophomore Aidan Olsen also posted an impressive time under 20 minutes on a difficult course.

The team returns to action at the Section Championships on February 6 at Theodore Wirth in Minneapolis.
