Fire Continue to Dominate

The Holy Family girls basketball team just came off a win against Hutchinson who they had previously lost to earlier in the year by a score of 58-57. The Fire got their revenge when they played on Tuesday, February 5th when they beat the Tigers 54-40. The Fire are now 17-4 following a dominating win against another one of their conference foes, New Prague. New Prague got the best of the Fire in their first matchup on January 18th, which the Trojans won by a score of 60-50. This time around the Fire showed up not only to win, but to DOMINATE.

The Fire played Maple Lake on Tuesday, February 12th and won again in dominating fashion by a score of 65-31; Leigh Steiner led the Fire with 19 points. All eyes are ahead to Saturdays (February 16th) marquee match up against the Fire’s biggest threat to a state tournament appearance…. Minneapolis North.
