5 Tried-and-True Tips to Wake Up Energized
It’s no secret; mornings are difficult. Practicing a consistent night routine is the best way to make mornings go smoothly but can be challenging to maintain. Everyone is bound to have a late-night here and there, so what other ways are there to prepare for mornings? Here are 5 tried-and-true methods that Holy Family students use to wake up energized every morning.
Stick to one time. Just like nighttime routines, it is important to have a morning routine. Your body has its own internal clock and it is crucial to keep it functioning and on time!
Get out of bed as soon as your alarm sounds. No matter how difficult it might be to get up, moving around is the fastest way to clear morning grogginess. If this still comes as a struggle to you, you should…
Plan to do an activity you enjoy. You can do anything you love – reading a book, drinking a cup of coffee, listening to music – you name it! Don’t use a generic alarm on your phone. It is easy to become accustomed to a sound and block it out in the morning; to combat this, find a favorite song or audio clip from a movie/TV show and set it as your alarm.
