The very talented Class of 2022 has many athletes that are taking their skills to the college level. There are currently 7 commits altogether; 5 girl’s hockey players, one girl basketball player, one girl soccer player, and one boy lacrosse player. We also have one girl’s basketball commit from the class of 2023. In this series, we are highlighting all the athletes that are committed here at Holy Family. All prospects play a huge role in the success here at Holy Family and have astounding careers ahead of them in college.

We first start with Senior Madison Kaiser. Maddie transferred to Holy Family from Andover her Junior year. Maddie is committed to play Hockey at the University of Minnesota (D1) and is also captain of the HF girl’s hockey team. When we asked how Maddie thinks this season will go, she stated, “I have high hopes for my senior year at HF. The team is very deep this year and has the best coach in the state.”

Next, we have Nicole Bowlin. Nicole is committed to play basketball and further her education at Colorado Christian (D2). She is entering her second year as captain of the basketball team and has been a part of the team since her Freshman year. When asked about this upcoming year, she said, “I’m excited about our team this year, we should have a really good year and hopefully achieve our team goal and make it to state.”

Our next athlete is Mimi Pavelka. Mimi is committed to play soccer and further her education at Central College (D3). She has been on the team since Freshman year and is making a big impact for HF Girl’s Soccer this year. We asked Mimi why she chose Central College and she said, “I thought it was a place that I could become a more well-rounded athlete and person, and also they had the major I am interested in studying.”

All three of these athletes have a very bright future and the Holy Family community is very proud of all their hard work and accomplishments!
