Lindsey Werner- Art

Q: What is something you have always wanted to do?

A: I would love to travel more, there is so much to learn about the world.

 

Q: When you were growing up what did you want to be?

A: Doing something with art, art was always easy and I always enjoyed it. Education just made sense so I went with that.

 

Q: What is your favorite scent?

A: Vanilla or almond.

 

Q: Who is your favorite artist?

A: Chuck Close.

 

Q: What is the best piece of advice you have ever gotten?

A: Probably the Golden Rule.

 

Q: What is one of your pet peeves?

A: Lying, can’t handle not being told the truth.

 

Q: If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

A: Backpacking around Europe.

 

Q: Describe ideal weather for you?

A: 75 degrees, not too crazy hot or cold and you can just hang out.

 

Q: What is the best gift you have ever received?

A: My children.

 

William Theobold- Social Studies

 

Q: What’s one of your pet peeves?

A: When people gauck at things that happen on the road.

 

Q: What is your favorite snack?

A: Doritos.

 

Q: What would be an ideal way to spend your birthday?

A: Spend time with family, wife and daughter, and us going to a Packers’ game.

 

Q: What advice would you give to freshmen?

A: Join different clubs and activities and get involved.

 

Q: What’s your favorite thing about Holy Family?

A: The people, the staff, the students, a special place and everyone tries to be kind and loving.

 

Q: Growing up what did you want to be?

A: A professional football player or an engineer.

 

Q: What is your favorite dessert?

A: Brownies.

 

Mike Sanislo- Science

 

Q: Who is your favorite musician?

A: Eddie Van Halen. Redefined guitar-playing and maybe even rock and roll

 

Q: What is your favorite sports team?

A: Minnesota Twins. I have been a fan for almost my entire life and know players from every era from the 1960s to today.

 

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: Glengarry Glenross. Best movie about sales in history.  A close second is the Deer Hunter.

 

Q: What is your favorite type of science to talk about?

A: Physics. So much left to be discovered.

 

Q: What is your biggest fear?

A: Fear that I might someday not be able to remember my wedding anniversary.

 

Q: If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

A: I am right where I want to be, right now, in Minnesota.  The answer really depends on where my children will live.  I will always want to be near them. Because I share this desire with my wife, we probably will both end up wherever it is that we can be close to our children.

 

Q: Who is someone you look up to?

A: Father Bernard Reiser, a priest that I knew for nearly 50 years.  He literally touched tens of thousands of lives. 

 

Q: What is something you are most proud of?

A: I became a physics teacher.  It is more challenging than engineering or business and I have done both of those.

 

Q: What fictional character would you like to meet?

A: Snoopy.  His cool is off the charts.

 

Q: What advice would you give to seniors?

A: Live each day as if it was your last.

Q: What is your favorite Disney movie?

A: The Little Mermaid.

 

Q: What is your favorite dessert?

A: Cheesecake.

 

Q: What is your favorite thing to do with your family?

A: Go to the cabin.

 

Q: What is your favorite holiday?

A: Christmas.

 

Q: If you had to choose a fictional character to have a conversation with, who would it be?

A: Professor McGonagall from Harry Potter.

 

Q: What is the best advice you have ever gotten?

A: “The only true failure is when you stop trying”- the Karate Kid.

 

Q: What is the nicest thing someone has done for you?

A: I had a time in college where I was having a rough week and my friends took me out to dinner.

A: The Selection Series by Kiera Cass.
