Yoga Club
There is now a new yoga club at Holy Family! Everyone is welcome to sign up and participate in this beneficial and fun club. Miss Diggins leads the yoga classes and answered a couple of questions:
Why did you want to start a yoga class?
“I wanted to start a yoga class so that I can share yoga at Holy Family. I have been doing yoga for over 10 years and it has helped me not only physically but also mentally in many ways.”
What days and what time are the usual classes?
“Yoga is usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:45 p.m. in my classroom.”
Is there anything you need to bring and where will the classes be held?
“You can bring a mat if you have one but you do not need to bring one.”
Favorite things about yoga and what are the biggest positives of doing yoga?
“Yoga is all about breathing and learning how to move in ways that help you feel better. I have taken a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and am enrolled in a 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training right now. What I have learned the most are lessons of self-love, letting go, and peace. They are all great life lessons that transfer from yoga to everyday life.”
