JJ Mckenna, a senior at Holy Family, and Holden Pajor, a junior, have been dating for about a year. In this interview with JJ, she talks about her relationship with Holden.

Interviewer: How did you meet?

JJ: “We heard of each other from school. I had gone to some of his hockey games not knowing who he was. He added me on Snapchat earlier in the year, and I added him back randomly while I was babysitting after one of my friends in his grade told me to add him back. We started talking because he was friends with some of my guy friends in my grade.”

Interviewer: What made you interested in him?

JJ: “He was a very sweet and outgoing guy who loved sports. Obviously, I liked his looks at first; but, he wasn’t awkward and actually seemed like a cool guy.” 

Interviewer: What are some hardships since you are in different grades?

JJ: “There aren’t many hardships since we go to the same school and we have One Lunch together so we aren’t split apart. Mostly we will face hardships in the future with me going to college and him going to Juniors for hockey.”

Interviewer: What was your favorite date?

JJ: “One of my favorite dates was probably our first when we went to the guy’s state hockey tournament. A reoccurring favorite is just staying in and getting snacks, going to Dairy Queen, and building Legos together while watching movies!”
