At Holy Family Catholic High School, May 1 was an exciting milestone for the Class of 2026: Decision Day. Seniors gathered to celebrate their next steps and the hallways buzzed with energy as students showed off their school colors and college gear, sharing their plans for the adventures ahead.
Students committed to a wide range of colleges and universities, reflecting the many different passions and goals within the senior class. Many students chose to stay in the Midwest, with popular destinations including the University of Minnesota, University of Wisconsin–Madison, Miami University (Ohio), University of Iowa, St. Johns University, University of Kansas, Creighton University, Marquette University, and the University of St. Thomas. Other students committed to schools in the South, such as Texas Christian University, Auburn University, University of Mississippi, University of Tennessee, and many others.
A number of students will also be heading to schools in the East, with commitments to colleges in states such as Maryland, Massachusetts, and New York, representing a mix of large universities and smaller private schools. Meanwhile, other students are venturing out West, highlighting the national reach of the Class of 2026’s decisions.
The most frequently chosen destinations among the Class of 2026 included Miami University, the University of Wisconsin Madison, the University of Mississippi, Creighton University, and Texas Christian University.
Overall, Decision Day celebrated the individuality of each student’s journey and the exciting paths they will take after high school. As graduation approaches, the Class of 2026 reflects on years of the hard work and strong community they built at Holy Family!
