A Beautiful Mind, Revisited

A Beautiful Mind, Revisited

Why write about a movie that came out in 2001 now? Because I think this movie has an important message behind it that everybody can relate to in a sense. On the surface, this is about man named John Nash who battles with Schizophrenia and we get to follow him through his experience through life. Russell Crowe does an excellent job as John and portrays him with a lot of realism that not a lot of actors can exhibit. It is hard to watch somebody go through something like this, not knowing what is real or not, and it is important for people to realize how tragic this mental disorder can be and how it can majorly effect someone’s life.

John learns how to live with his inner demons with the help of his wife and friends sticking with him through everything. If you have an amazon prime account, I highly recommend this movie for anyone because it has an important message about how to deal with people with mental disorders. It teaches that by just being there for someone can help them escape their demons that haunt them. “I’ve made the most important discovery of my life. It’s only in the mysterious equation of love that any logic or reasons can be found.” -John Nash
